South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to enhance our team at Lanark - Lifestyle as a Senior Recreation Assistant specializing in aquatic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pool and dryside activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with the Duty Officer to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Manage customer inquiries and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of both internal and external facilities.
- Conduct clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and mail distribution.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of events, contributing to marketing efforts.
- Promote membership options and coordinate retention initiatives.
- Supervise pool activities and assist with equipment setup and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following certifications:
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Pool Plant Operators Qualification
- First Aid Certificate
The NPLQ training assessor qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
