Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at The Waterhead Inn, a multi-award-winning pub with rooms in the heart of the Lake District.

About the Role:

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to order, adhering to recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized working station, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards

Requirements:
  • Awareness of presentation and attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar role and fresh food environment, with a genuine commitment and passion for food, training, and quality service
  • Ability to deliver exceptional food service, taking full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service
  • Ensuring the safety, security, and appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following appropriate legislation and company policy
  • Good communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills
