We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Senior Therapist, you will play a key role in providing specialist individual interventions with children and young people aged 0-18 years with complex mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Offer assessment and evidence-based treatment to young people with a range of complex mental health presentations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff and contribute to the development of the team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Postgraduate training in a relevant field (e.g. clinical psychology, family therapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy).
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (e.g. HCPC, BACP, UKCP AFT, ACP).
- Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems.
- Experience of providing specialist individual interventions with a wide variety of children and young people, from 3 to 19 years old, presenting problems at the most severe end of the spectrum.
