Job Summary:

Capstone Property Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client's growing team in the real estate development and project management industry.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on delivering central London 5-star hotel projects and new build residential projects. The company's portfolio ranges from large-scale commercial developments to private, high-quality residential apartments and hotels, including the next generation of purpose-built student accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility and viability assessments to ensure projects are viable and meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to architectural and technical design, working closely with the design team to maintain momentum and meet programme milestones.
  • Manage consultants through planning and construction phases, ensuring compliance with statutory approvals and regulations.
  • Develop and drive the project programme and critical path throughout the development cycle to practical completion.
  • Work alongside the QS to produce the initial Cost Plan/Budget and manage the resulting tender process.
  • Review and contribute to the building design from concept through to construction documentation stages.
  • Play an active role in the negotiation and procurement of Main and Sub-contractors.
  • Manage the design team to maintain momentum on design requirements and meet programme milestones.
  • Manage the obtainment of statutory approvals and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of Project Management processes through RIBA stages 1 to 6 are essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A RICS, RIBA, MCIOB, or similar qualification is preferred.
