The ONE Group Ltd is pleased to be working with a reputable Automotive testing and validation business in Leyland who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Propulsion Engineer to work on EDU and driveline testing to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role involves working within the Propulsion team, focusing on Driveline and EDU testing, with a varied project workload including durability and performance testing on electrified and conventional driveline products. You will have the opportunity to work on established and bespoke drive cycles for a range of customers from the Automotive and Motorsport markets.
As a Propulsion Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of testing and project delivery, including liaising with customers and technicians throughout the full lifecycle of the project. This will involve using CAD packages for fixture design, equipment installation, test bed control system setup, test execution, and validating test results and report writing.
This role would suit either a graduate engineer looking to develop a career within a reputable company or a time-served Automotive Engineer with experience in Driveline and EDU testing and exposure to the HV/EV side of things.
