Job Title: Part Time EYFS or KS1 Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EYFS or KS1 teacher to join our team at Roundwood Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering a love of learning, and promoting academic excellence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in the EYFS statutory framework and the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will be expected to provide high-quality teaching and assessment, effective use of resources and environment, and excellent standards of learning and achievement for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to students in EYFS or KS1
  • Use resources and environment effectively to support student learning
  • Ensure excellent standards of learning and achievement for all students
  • Provide emotional nourishment for all pupils, ensuring a child-centric approach
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Expert knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and the Key Stage 1 curriculumUnderstanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in EYFS/KS1Awareness of local and national organizations that can support delivering the EYFSAbility to build effective working relationships with staff and other stakeholdersAbility to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needsKnowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding childrenGood IT skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate a vision and inspire othersAbout Us
