Job Summary:

Astute People is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the design and construction of wind turbine systems across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects to achieve the highest health and safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Drive projects to achieve the highest health and safety and quality standards, including risk assessment and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Technical Input: Provide technical input during the project development phase, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project costs and manage budgets to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Handle procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations for design and construction services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver projects to the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering onshore wind, construction, or civil engineering projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel to UK sites, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Location: Must be within an hour's drive of Wadebridge, Cornwall, or willing to relocate.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with Astute People.
