Job Overview

As a Formal Verification Engineer at Connected Consulting Limited, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge hardware verification solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex IP verification projects, pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze proposed design changes from a verification complexity perspective, ensuring optimal solutions.
  • Support the verification environment from investigation through to verification closure, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) formal testbenches, driving quality and efficiency.
  • Design and implement SVA Protocol Checkers for Formal and Simulation use, enhancing verification capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering formal verification environments for complex IP/module level designs, with a strong track record of success.
  • Proficiency in property-based model-checking or Formal Property verification, with a deep understanding of SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA).
  • Experience in writing assertions using formal tools, such as Cadence, Mentor, or Synopsys.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

Multiprocessing microarchitecture expertise, including knowledge of cache coherence and bus protocols (e.g., AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE, or AXI).

Additional Information:

Please note that this role requires hybrid working arrangements, with 2 days onsite (Manchester) required each week. The position will also be classified as Inside IR35, working via an umbrella company.
