Arcadis Graduate Programme: Air Quality Specialist

Our graduate programme, GROW, is a structured 3-year programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You'll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. You'll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.

Air Quality - The Air Quality team undertake a range of air quality assessments across multiple sectors including Highways and Rail, Energy, Industrial, and supporting regeneration/Master planning/mixed use projects. A key part of your role will be supporting the delivery of assessments including undertaking site work to install and collect air quality monitoring equipment, interrogate air quality monitoring data, and undertake air quality modelling using a range of predictive models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of air quality assessments across multiple sectors
  • Undertake site work to install and collect air quality monitoring equipment
  • Interrogate air quality monitoring data and undertake air quality modelling
  • Work on a range of environmental and planning projects

Requirements:

  • Graduating in 2025 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required
  • Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
  • Comfortable with site-based working, when required for projects
