Forklift Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at Job&Talent in Southampton, Millbrook. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering forklifts in busy industrial environments, stacking and unstacking goods, and ensuring a smooth logistics process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move goods around the warehouse
  • Stack and unstack goods onto shelves or pallets
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
  • Unload deliveries and relocate goods to storage areas
  • Ensure forklift driving areas are clear of obstructions
  • Regularly check forklift equipment for faults or damages
Requirements:
  • Warehouse Operative experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Forklift driving experience (license/certificate not mandatory)
