Stock Controller Job Description

Mploy Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring a safe and secure warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve stock file discrepancies and issues
  • Update the system to ensure accurate stock records
  • Effectively track stock movements and minimize stock adjustments and losses
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and tidy warehouse environment
  • Work closely with secondary warehouse and other locations
  • Conduct stock checks and investigate missing items
  • Respond to customer service queries via internal system/email
  • Assist other departments during pick times
  • Curry stock consolidation and quality control of stock items
Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Possess a warm and friendly personality and enjoy working with people
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Flexible and self-motivated

Working Hours:

We offer flexible working hours to suit your needs, including:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00-14:30 ( £13.66 - £13.86 including attendance bonus)
  • Monday to Friday: 13:30-22:00 ( £13.86 - £14.36 including attendance bonus)
  • Sunday to Thursday (night shift): 21:30-6:00 ( £14.36 - £15.06 including attendance bonus)
