We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Thorpe Molloy McCulloch Recruitment Ltd. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing customer debt, ensuring timely payments, and addressing any issues related to unpaid invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and follow up on aged debts reports daily to ensure prompt payment from customers.
- Allocate incoming funds to invoices as per customer remittances and post cash receipts into the ERP system.
- Organize regular debtor meetings with Operations Teams to discuss payment plans and resolve any issues.
- Liaise with operations regarding invoice issues, credit notes, and other financial matters.
- Upload invoice information to the bank finance system daily and reconcile invoice data with the bank monthly.
- Assist the Accountant with month-end sales ledger reconciliations to the general ledger and support invoicing duties as required.
- Previous experience in credit control is preferred, but not essential.
- Good IT and financial systems knowledge, with experience with Great Plains being a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
- A positive, assertive, and outgoing personality is required, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
