Job Title: Welfare Benefits Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Welfare Benefits Advisor to join our team at mhs homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers with their financial wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on welfare benefits, ensuring they receive the maximum amount of support available to them.
  • Assist customers with benefit claims, representing them in appeals and managing inquiries.
  • Build partnerships with external agencies to enhance our customers' financial stability.
  • Utilize relevant systems and software to provide tailored support to diverse customers.
  • Manage the Customer Support Fund, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a welfare benefits environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of all welfare benefits for working and pension-age individuals.
  • Ability to write and present training, as well as manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving licence and access to a car for work.
