Job Summary
We Help Recruit is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery across the UK.
About Our Client
Our client is a leading organization in the paper and packaging industry, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a rich history and a global presence, they are dedicated to providing high-quality, environmentally friendly solutions that meet the needs of their diverse customer base.
The Role
This role involves extensive travel, up to 45k miles annually, to support customers, provide out-of-hours call coverage, and manage spare parts. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Service, repair, and maintain packaging machines.
- Filling out service reports to be signed by customers with photos of issues and parts replaced.
- Supporting weekend, Bank Holiday, and out-of-hours call-out cover as necessary, especially during peak seasons.
- Providing telephone on-call service in and out of working hours.
- Maintaining a budget and small spares stock.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as an electromechanical and/or electronic engineer.
- Ability to drive and travel extensively, up to 45k miles per annum.
- Great Britain coverage only, not Ireland or Northern Ireland.
