Role Overview

We are seeking Solution Architects to enhance our collaborative environment, facilitating business transformations through strategic insights and enabling enduring change through the effective application of technology. Collaborate with clients to conceptualize and implement their most intricate business and technical solutions. Throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, our Solution Architects maintain a hands-on, results-oriented approach across all domains and leading technologies, from optimizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency to developing digital services that expedite critical decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect and technology leader within our Digital & Data team, you will:

  • Collaborate directly with PA and client stakeholders to establish robust technology solutions tailored to our clients' requirements. At times, you may need to assist clients in identifying their needs as they embark on their digital transformation journey. Many of our clients are prominent corporations or significant government entities, and you can expect to engage in projects that create substantial impact from the outset.
  • Develop, create, and validate essential architectural artifacts such as Key Design Decisions, Technical Options Papers, High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, Reference Architectures, and Roadmaps. This will require deploying a range of consulting and stakeholder management skills to inform, engage, and influence colleagues and decision-makers across our clients' organizations.
  • Support senior leaders in shaping their case for change, typically leading on cost estimation and assisting in the creation of detailed planning and benefits realization for the technology solutions you design.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams, often taking a lead Subject Matter Expert role to define the vision, establish Architectural Guardrails, Architecture Runways, and Detailed Designs, while also addressing any issues that arise.
  • Quickly grasp and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to senior business leaders and their teams. Your technical writing and presentation skills will be essential, supported by productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Confidently apply your architectural skills and experience across a broad spectrum of architectural domains, with a specialization in at least one: Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF, or SAFe.
  • Utilize your knowledge of architecture modeling tools and frameworks to convey your ideas effectively: UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq, among others.
  • Design and implement architectural solutions within governance and target operating models, employing various methodologies: Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and professional development. We value diverse experiences, so we are not prescriptive about this. Certifications in relevant methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous: AWS, Azure, GCP, TOGAF, SAFe.
