Audiologist/Hearing Aid DispenserJob Type: Full-timeJob Category: Hearing HealthcareLocation: This position involves covering multiple practices.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations to assess the degree and type of hearing impairment.
  • Provide professional recommendations on hearing solutions, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive listening technologies.
  • Fit and dispense suitable hearing aids, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for patients.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations to adjust hearing aids, address concerns, and ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Offer counseling and support to patients and their families to facilitate adaptation to hearing aids and effective management of hearing loss.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting assessment findings, treatment strategies, and progress notes.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology through ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ENT specialists and primary care providers, to deliver comprehensive hearing care services.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives to promote awareness of hearing healthcare services offered by the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Hearing Aid Audiology or a related discipline.
  • Valid certification as an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of hearing assessment methodologies, hearing aid technologies, and assistive listening devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing audiometric instruments and software for hearing assessments and hearing aid programming.
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and sensitivity when interacting with patients experiencing hearing challenges.
  • Patient-centered approach, committed to delivering exceptional care and enhancing patients' quality of life.
Salary and Benefits:

Competitive annual salary of £50,000 with the potential for up to 20% bonus based on sales performance, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

You will have access to a comprehensive range of equipment, enabling you to tailor each consultation to the individual needs of your patients. This includes Video Otoscopy, Tympanometry, Speech Testing, REMs, Microsuction, and Irrigation equipment.
