Job Title: Chef - Bank

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the UK. As a Bank Chef, you will have the opportunity to work with fresh seasonal food, create nutritious and flavorsome meals for residents, and maintain high standards in a warm and welcoming environment.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus that cater to the needs of residents
  • Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes
  • Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
  • Collaborate with the team to create a warm and efficient environment
  • Manage stock control and complete regular audits
Requirements:
  • A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
  • A good understanding of nutrition and HACCP
