We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely SEN school in the North Tyneside area.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, MLD, behavioural issues, and PMLD/complex needs. You will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of these students and support them in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help students with their personal care and well-being
  • Support students with their academic and social development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and engage with SEN children
