Key Responsibilities:
Our Field Service Engineers operate globally on Unique Group projects and play a vital role within the team.
They are tasked with ensuring our equipment remains in optimal working condition at their assigned locations. This involves adhering to company protocols concerning the testing, maintenance, and calibration of rental equipment to the highest standards.
Field Engineers are accountable for the mobilization, demobilization, and operation of our equipment on vessels in various ports worldwide as needed. When not deployed in the field, our Engineers assist our Operations Teams by maintaining, servicing, and preparing equipment for upcoming projects.
Job Requirements:
Willingness to work off-site, undertaking mobilizations on vessels in ports globally as required.
Upholding the highest safety standards and ensuring compliance with company HSE policies at all times.
Ensuring all equipment has comprehensive testing procedures that are regularly updated as necessary.
Adhering to company protocols regarding the testing, maintenance, and calibration of rental equipment, ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards.
Ensuring all testing equipment is consistently in satisfactory working order through proper calibration and maintenance.
Updating maintenance and calibration schedules for rental and testing equipment.
Maintaining accurate records of rental assets, job reports, etc., on the company asset tracking system.
Practicing good housekeeping in all work areas.
Collaborating closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and workshop stock.
Effectively communicating with colleagues at all levels to ensure smooth information transfer.
Participating in manufacturer training courses as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
HNC or HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
Previous experience in Survey Engineering at a comparable level.
A flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
As frequent travelers, field engineers must ensure that all passports are valid for at least one year and have four blank pages.
QHSE Responsibilities:
Consistently adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards applicable to Unique Group and contribute to the development and enhancement of these standards.
Comply with Unique Group's QHSE Management System.
Foster a positive QHSE culture within the workplace.
