About the Role
Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business optimization and spearheading initiatives within Purchasing & Logistics (Supply Chain).
Key Responsibilities
- Team and Service Management: Lead a team of Inventory Specialists, Expeditors, and Purchasing Coordinators to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
- Business Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring accurate forecasting and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Demand Management: Analyze and manage demand patterns to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs.
- Logistics Provider Management: Develop and maintain relationships with logistics providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration with all departments to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Procurement, preferably in an electronic or FMCG environment.
- Team Management: Minimum 5 years' experience in managing small teams.
- Global Team Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience working with global teams.
- Process Design and Improvement: Demonstrated experience in process design, redesign, and continuous improvements.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Remuneration
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits.
