Job Title: Youth Mental Health Worker

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Mental Health Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and mental health development of our students.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our trained professionals, including psychologists and therapists, to provide individualized support to students with social and emotional difficulties. You will have the opportunity to shadow their work and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with social and emotional difficulties, including anxiety and school refusal due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide emotional intelligence coaching and social skills education to students.
  • Contribute to a trauma-informed practice that prioritizes student wellbeing and safety.
  • Shadow psychologists and therapists to develop your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
