Design Engineer

Join Omega Resource Group, a leading provider of cryogenic equipment, in the role of Design Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, customized cryogenic systems for scientific research and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fit-for-purpose components, sub-systems, and assemblies of cryogenic systems
  • Provide mechanical design input to develop new systems and mechanisms or improve existing ones
  • Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFM & DFA) to ensure efficient production
  • Create CAD concepts, parts, and assemblies in line with functional requirements and internal standards
  • Support CAD releases and reviews to program milestones, ensuring timely completion and release
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers
  • Accurately produce manufacturing documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support the introduction of new products
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques and processes
  • Excellent mechanical design skills, with experience in CAD development
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
