Job Description

Dandara Living is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of daily accounting activities across the company's Build to Rent portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the regional finance processing, ensuring that policy, procedures, and controls are adhered to and applied in line with the Dandara Finance Manual.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a small accounting team responsible for the daily accounting function, including the management of payment processes, outputs, and priorities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Respond to data and analysis requests from across the regional Management Team, Division, and Group, including regular reporting and ad-hoc queries as required.
  • Accounting and Control: Review reconciliations of key supplier accounts, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and raise Management Fee invoices from DLM to investor owners.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Part Qualified Accountant with a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail (CAT/AAT or similar).
  • Experience: 2-3 years' experience in a similar Property Management role, preferably managing an accounting team.
  • Skills: Excellent MS Office skills, including Advanced Excel, and a good understanding of accounting principles and double entry bookkeeping.
