Job Overview:
Infinity Employment is currently seeking skilled FAIRs Technicians to support our prominent client, renowned for delivering Engineering Solutions across diverse industries.

This position is set for a fixed term and is ideal for candidates with a background in aerospace and experience in a manufacturing setting. Successful candidates can expect further opportunities in the future.

Compensation:
PAYE: £23 per hour + Overtime
Umbrella: £27 per hour + Overtime
Enjoy an early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FAIR Overcheck Inspections in line with quality standards to ensure first-time accuracy.
  • Support timing plans through the completion of FAIR Overcheck Inspections.
  • Implement productivity enhancements and cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to clients.

Health and Safety:
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified FAIRs Technician.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality management systems (AS9100 Revision D).
  • Understanding of FAIR Presentation and AS9102 requirements.
  • Experience in compiling FAIRs, creating balloon drawings, and utilizing Visual FAIR.
  • Knowledge of customer specifications and approvals, particularly with major aerospace clients.
  • Experience with special processes in aerospace manufacturing (e.g., NDT, chemical processing, welding).
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies.
  • Good project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of problem analysis techniques and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent IT proficiency.

Working Hours:
37 hours per week

  • Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 4:45 PM
  • Friday: 8 AM - 12 PM
  • Overtime: Time and a quarter after 37 hours Monday to Friday
  • Time and a half on Saturdays
  • Double time on Sundays
