### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ledger Processing Assistant to join our team at Crowe UK. As a Ledger Processing Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling supplier statements.
### Key Responsibilities
* Process invoices for payment on the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Assist in producing payments packs to suppliers and making ad-hoc payments
* Complete regular supplier statement reconciliations, investigate queries, and chase missing invoices
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the purchase ledger supervisor to support the department's general duties
* Collaborate with the Treasury department as needed
### Requirements
* Experience in purchase ledger duties, with a good understanding of invoice processing and payments
* Knowledge of internal controls in a purchase ledger environment
* Computerized accounting experience, preferably in a purchase-ledger setting
* Strong working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, including Excel, Word, and databases
