Sous Chef Position

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join a vibrant gastro pub in the Thetford area, offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 plus overtime and tips. Role Overview
As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations of this meat-centric gastro pub. You will have the opportunity to work with outstanding ingredients and create a variety of dishes that highlight local and seasonal produce.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen management.
- Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Cook and prepare meals on designated sections.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Perform all standard Sous Chef duties as required.

Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have a background in fresh food preparation, demonstrating a passion for local and seasonal ingredients. Strong knife skills and a commitment to culinary excellence are essential.
