Audit and Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning through to completion, supervising and providing feedback to audit assistants, and preparing accounts for non-audit limited companies.

About the Role
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Supervise and provide feedback to audit assistants, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare accounts for non-audit limited companies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review accounts preparation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to the management of a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management.
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
  • Mentor and support new trainees, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, or CA qualified, or part-qualified with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.
  • Experience in the provision of audits.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a drive to deliver exceptional results.
  • Technically efficient in both audit and accounting.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An appetite to progress and take on a supervisory role within the firm.
