Controlling Trainee

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Controlling Trainee to join our team at Stateside Foods. As a Controlling Trainee, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial information to support operational and strategic planning.

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Material Settlement**: Analyze and investigate material variances, including projects, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• **Customer Margin Tracking**: Produce and maintain customer margin trackers to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• **Costing and Mitigation**: Provide accurate costings and cost mitigation work to support business decisions.
• **SAP Administration**: Set up material masters in SAP for new products and perform monthly costing runs.
• **Variance Analysis**: Ensure material variances are up to date in SAP and perform month-end variance analysis and reporting.
• **Dashboards and Reporting**: Maintain operational and sales dashboards, as well as the NC Pack and Maintenance Spend Pack.
• **Forecasting and Planning**: Prepare the Forecast 2 report and support the preparation of management accounts and business plans.
• **Process Improvement**: Continuously look for ways to improve processes and procedures within the Controlling department.
• **Cross-Departmental Relationships**: Build effective relationships with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Effective analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrable experience with SAP and Excel.
• A level qualification in a related field, as well as part-qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA.
