Senior Ecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team at Latcom Plc. As a key member of our ecological services team, you will be responsible for managing habitat classification surveys and protected species surveys, developing complex fee quotations, and producing technical reports.

• Manage UK habitat classification surveys and protected species surveys to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and deliver complex fee quotations and tenders to secure new business opportunities.
• Produce high-quality technical reports, including PEA, BNG, protected species, habitat management plans, BREEAM, HRA, and EcIA reports.
• Manage medium- to large-scale projects, monitoring financial progress and ensuring timely delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior ecologists to develop their skills and expertise.
• Solve complex legal and logistical puzzles to ensure project success.

• Hold at least one protected species licence.
• Hold a relevant bachelor's degree (or higher).
• Be a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM).
• Have an accreditation in Personal Track Safety (PTS).
