Job Opportunity: Senior Marine Hull and War Broker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Hull and War Broker to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our marine broking team, you will be responsible for placing complex marine risks with global syndicates and insurers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and insurers to place complex marine risks
  • Utilize your extensive network to identify new business opportunities and grow our marine portfolio
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with our underwriting team to provide expert advice on marine risk management and mitigation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marine broking, with a focus on hull and war risks
  • Strong understanding of marine insurance markets and trends
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
