Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join our team at eNL Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting experienced Solicitors with clients, preparing applications to the Court of Protection, and supporting daily financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced Solicitors with clients, preparing applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of deputies.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries from clients and support the daily financial administration.
  • Prepare annual deputyship reports.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice, and Court of Protection Rules.
  • Provide an excellent service to clients with a sympathetic approach.

Requirements:

  • Experience of dealing with Financial Affairs Deputyships, Court of Protection for Property and Finance sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice, and Court of Protection Rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
