Stalking Caseworker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Stalking Caseworker to join our Multi-Crime team in Devon and Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support to individuals affected by stalking, working closely with volunteers and other local providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Develop and deliver safety and support plans for victims of stalking, providing resources, interventions, and information to ensure their well-being.
• Oversee the casework management of a small team of volunteer supporters, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Liaise with local providers to share information on our service offer and options for victims and survivors.
• Contribute to the development of Victim Support's stalking services, working closely with colleagues to drive improvement and innovation.
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide a high-quality service to clients, prioritizing their needs and ensuring a seamless experience.

• Understanding of the impact of crime on victims, including stalking, domestic abuse, and hate crime.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of delivering services in a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting, with a proven track record of success.
• Ability to balance competing needs and priorities, working independently and as part of a team.
• Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role.
• Ability to manage a complex caseload, using generic IT applications competently.
