Exciting Opportunity for a Digital Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Design Engineer to join our renowned client as part of their South West Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting senior engineers by producing detailed Revit and AutoCAD models and drawings for a variety of exciting M&E projects.

About the Role
  • Develop and maintain Revit / CAD models and drawings for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to produce high-quality construction documents
  • Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary models and manage clashes and interferences
  • Implement and enforce BIM standards and protocols across projects
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in all deliverables
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Revit and BIM technologies
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential, AutoCAD experience also highly advantageous
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Revit Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, or a related field is preferred
