About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our team at Litt Recruitment. As a key member of our Residential Conveyancing department, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, providing top-notch advice and assistance to clients, and contributing to our company's reputation for excellence in legal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate titles, prepare contracts, report on searches and mortgages, and handle stamp duty transactions.
  • Draft non-standard correspondence, manage file updates, and supervise support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as money laundering and data protection, maintaining excellent file management procedures.
  • Mentor and coach team members, attend necessary training courses, and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
  • Utilize case management systems and demonstrate excellent PC/keyboard skills to maintain high standards of service.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Good risk management skills and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent file management procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to delegate, supervise, mentor, and coach team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with case management systems and excellent PC/keyboard skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Up to £35,000, based on experience.
  • Location: Hartlepool, office-based.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break, totalling a 35-hour working week.
