We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Director to join our client's national support services firm for an 8-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the L&D function, including the delivery of the Apprenticeship programme and managing relationships with OFSTED and the ESFA.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the strategic development and execution of talent management and succession planning initiatives.
- Enhance the overall colleague experience through tailored development opportunities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Lead the delivery of the Apprenticeship programme and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement robust succession plans for critical roles across the business.
- Deep understanding of learning in complex organisations and experience of managing a complex P&L.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and OFSTED inspections.
- Strong background in development of early careers, including Modern Apprentices and Graduates.
- Established networks with training providers and external think tanks.
- Extensive understanding of learning management technology and budget management experience.
