About the Role:
This Core Subject Tutor position is ideal for a dedicated educator seeking to make a positive impact on the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. As a Core Subject Tutor, you will work closely with young people who require tailored support to bridge gaps in their education and enhance their engagement and attainment levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver personalized, 1:1 lesson plans to address knowledge gaps and improve academic outcomes
- Develop and maintain a supportive learning environment that fosters engagement and motivation
- Collaborate with Prospero Teaching to ensure high-quality educational support for vulnerable young people
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
