We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team as a Live In Care Assistant. As a Live In Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking, as well as light housekeeping and laundry.
- Support clients with their medication and provide reminders as needed.
- Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a live-in care role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable adults.
