About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investor Relations Officer to join our team at National Grid. As a key member of our Investor Relations (IR) team, you will play a critical role in developing and communicating our investment proposition to the financial community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective investor relations strategies to enhance our reputation and credibility with the investment community.
  • Collaborate with our business units and internal stakeholders to ensure that our investor messaging is aligned with our overall business objectives.
  • Design and deliver high-quality investor materials, including annual reports, interim results, and other corporate communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key investors, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our message is heard and understood.
  • Provide strategic advice to our Executive team on investor relations matters, including investor engagement, financial reporting, and corporate communications.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to our Executive team on how to respond to changing market conditions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in investor relations, financial communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
