Adria Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team. As a SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for managing and providing support to all aspects of the database landscape, working closely with colleagues to design, build, and manage database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Implement and manage coding standards, security, and auditing procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of our database systems.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring and proactive alerting processes to identify and resolve database performance issues promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report to the DBA Lead within the Data Operations pillar and assist with a move into Azure for a data transformation project, ensuring all database systems meet business and performance requirements.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct root cause analysis, database performance monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal database performance and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Governance: Comply with the requirements and act in accordance with the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times.
  • SQL Code Reviews: Conduct SQL code reviews and provide optimization suggestions to improve database performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Ownership: Be confident in taking ownership and leading SQL Server-related projects, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess expert-level knowledge and quantifiable hands-on experience in performance tuning, with a strong understanding of MS-SQL and T-SQL from SQL 2008 through 2019.
