Accounts Assistant Job Description

Bond Williams Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team at Bournemouth Airport Business Park. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all Accounts Payable invoices monthly, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
  • Monitor Aged AP reports and maintain good housekeeping of supplier accounts.
  • Manage the AP email inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in AP process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and staff expenses processing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Purchase Ledger or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Xero accounting software.
  • AAT level 3 or equivalent qualification.
