Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portuguese Speaking Groups Operations Executive to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for handling group requests, negotiating rates and availability with suppliers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with group requests on a daily basis, including invoicing and calling suppliers to negotiate rates and availability
  • Following up with clients to confirm group bookings
  • Preparing itineraries and tour programs
  • Booking restaurants, entrance fees, coaches, guides, and other services
  • Preparing invoices and handling rooming lists
  • Keeping contact with agencies and suppliers
  • Working as part of a team to share knowledge and experience
  • Organizing tailor-made packages for London and other destinations
  • Providing accurate and rapid cost and profit calculations

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Portuguese, both written and verbal
  • 1 year experience in operations bookings for adult groups, incentives, congresses, series, tours, and student groups
  • Previous experience working for a travel agency or tour operator company
  • Understanding of the UK inbound market and tour operator concept
  • Good computer literacy with Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to take charge and responsibility
  • Strong negotiating abilities to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a motivated team
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian

Package:

  • Salary £25,000 - £28,000
  • Monday - Friday working hours
