We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pensions Administrator to join our team at Schroders. As a Pensions Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pension administration services.
Key Responsibilities- Set up new pension accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Vet pension transfer documentation and coordinate with pension providers to facilitate seamless transfer processes.
- Manage client contributions and facilitate direct debit collections.
- Calculate and process pension retirement benefits, including reconciliations.
- Administer payments of income benefits via our payroll system.
- Handle death benefits and engage with customers through various communication channels.
- Oversee service level agreements and address incoming queries.
- Stay up-to-date with technical and scheme changes in the financial services market.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights.
- Develop a strong understanding of pensions and industry platforms.
- Follow procedures and instructions to ensure excellent client outcomes.
- Relevant experience in administration or processing, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Personal Pension Administration.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- An analytical approach combined with problem-solving skills.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
