The Role:
Casual work on an as-needed basis.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 08:00 am to 14:30 pm.
A Typical Day:
You will play a vital role in our residents' daily lives through regular interaction, not just during meal times but throughout your shift.
You will assist the broader catering team with food preparation, ensuring an inclusive and engaging dining experience for all residents.
Our mission is to ensure that the joy of food is accessible to everyone, including those with eating, drinking, and swallowing challenges. The social aspect of dining and the nutritional quality of meals are essential to the health and well-being of residents in our care facilities.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness is crucial, which includes preparing service areas from the kitchen or remote dining locations, ensuring they are ready for residents to enjoy their meals, and tidying up after service.
About You:
If you have prior experience in catering, we would be delighted to hear from you.
However, we have developed a comprehensive induction and outstanding training programs that mean if you enjoy home cooking and have a passion for quality food, we can assist you in transitioning to a commercial catering environment.
A valid Driving Licence is required to meet the travel demands of the position.
