Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Contributions: Undertake detailed engineering and safety tasks to produce project deliverables efficiently and in alignment with contractual specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols. All outputs will be subject to review and endorsement by a principal consultant.
2. Contract Management: Oversee contract progression against established milestones, identify variations to support contract claims, and develop proposals that meet client specifications.
3. Planning and Control: Adhere to work plans and cost estimates within your area of responsibility, ensuring timely delivery of quality outputs within budgetary constraints.
4. Risk and Opportunity Management: Assist in risk assessments and the implementation of resultant actions, documenting and managing technical risks in accordance with mitigation guidelines.
5. Client Interaction: Address technical inquiries and facilitate actions for clients, collaborating with customers, colleagues, and contractors within your scope of deliverables.
6. Process and Tools: Utilize standard processes, software, and tools relevant to your responsibilities, reporting inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- A valid UK driving license.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual with a commitment to professional development.

Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in the High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals sector.
- Associate or Chartered membership of a relevant institution, such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
