About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Forest Lodge, Portadown. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users who have complex needs and helping them to manage their emotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and accessing the community.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassion and empathy towards service users and their families.
