The Role

As a Prison Healthcare General Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering community-equivalent primary care services to incarcerated individuals and, in urgent circumstances, to facility staff.

Your duties will include triaging, consulting, and treating a diverse range of patients presenting with various medical conditions. Occasionally, you may need to refer patients to specialized healthcare pathways, including secondary care services.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and nursing professionals to ensure that your patients receive a cohesive and efficient healthcare service.

Compensation:
Competitive daily rate (paid Ltd)

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday

Working Hours:
Full-day shifts (including a one-hour lunch break)

Healthcare System:

Candidate Requirements
You must possess HMP clearance (NOMS clearance).
You should be a fully qualified and registered General Practitioner.
You must be current with all mandatory training requirements.
You should be available for a full day of work.
