About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Flintshire and Wrexham (East) CAMHS. The successful candidate will have a significant role in the provision of family therapy, offering clinical supervision and consultation, developing and leading on appropriate training, and being a key member of our team to support our systemic thinking and formulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality family therapy to children, young people, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.
  • Lead and develop our systemic and family therapy offer across East CAMHS.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Develop and lead on training and professional development opportunities for the team.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to family therapy and systemic practice.
Requirements
  • A recognised postgraduate Family Therapy or equivalent qualification at a level of Masters or higher academic award.
  • UKCP registration as a family/systemic Psychotherapist.
  • Highly developed knowledge of systemic theory and practice.
  • Experience of implementing evidence-based family interventions.
  • Substantial assessed experience of working as a registered family/systemic psychotherapist.
