Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Silverdale Primary Academy. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils, providing cover for teachers when necessary, and contributing to the overall success of our academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities to pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of resources, materials, and equipment for lessons and activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for pupils.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
