We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operative Signalling Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Network Rail. As an Operative Signalling Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical part in the daily upkeep of the rail network, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of passengers and freight.
Key Responsibilities- Work outdoors in all conditions, at all times of the year, day, or night, to maintain and repair signalling and telecoms equipment.
- Develop and maintain a range of technical skills across manual, electrical, and digital equipment.
- Work closely with the team to deliver safe and efficient work delivery, communicating effectively and proactively planning to meet the needs of the team.
- Remain calm under pressure, working in demanding manual work environments, often with the need to transport kit across tricky terrain.
- Be safety-focused, respectful of rules, and a team player, with a willingness to learn and develop skills and competencies relevant to your discipline.
- Team-working: Our maintenance teams depend on each other, and you will be able to work closely with the team to deliver safe and efficient work delivery.
