About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of our adult eating disorders service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with eating disorders.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services and programs.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, including trainees and junior doctors.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice.
  • Approved clinician status.
  • Excellent knowledge of eating disorders and their treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
